Andrographis paniculata is known as King as Bitters.  Antibacterial, diabetic, diarrheal, inflammation, filarial, malarial, spirochetal, thrombotic, tumour, viral, cardio-protective, choleretic, depurative, expectorant, hepatoprotective, hypoglycemic, immune stimulant, sedative, thrombolytic and vermicidal.

Active against Chlamydia trachomatis, dengue fever, E coli, Epstein-Barr virus, Herpes simplex, HIV, human papillomavirus, Influenza, Klebsiella pneumonia, Legionella pneumophila, Leishmania, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Salmonella, Shigella, Staphylooccus and Strephtococcus.

Andrographis is the best anti-spirochetal for borrelial infections.  It enhances immune function, protects the heart muscle, is anti-inflammatory (helping with arthritic symptoms), crosses the blood brain barrier where it is active as both an anti-spirochetal and calming agent, and enhances and protects the liver.  It also helps correct inflammation-mediated neurodegeneration in the brain.
